2024 GRANT RECIPIENTS
For 2024 we are pleased to announce that Junior Tennis Fund Sacramento has awarded:
Fair Oaks is a new grantee this year. They will not only be running beginner clinics at their courts, but intend to do an after school program for first-time players at a San Juan Elementary school in their district.
Fair Oaks Recreation & Parks District - $1800
Woodland R&P District has been grant recipients since our first granting season (2015). They continue to run clinics throughout the tennis season for first-time players who need a little help affording the costs of tennis lessons.
Woodland Recreation & Parks District - $1680
Cordova is a returning grantee that received their first grant from JTFS in 2020. They continue to offer free clinics to first-time players. In addition JTFS helped sponsor a 2-week academy in the Cordova District for more advanced players in the summer of 2024.
Cordova Recreation & Parks District - $2000
Since 2022 the UCD Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams have joined up with JTFS to teach and sponsor a tennis clinic for beginners at a Woodland Court. These clinics are free to the participants and taught by the UCD players and their coaches. This is a great opportunity for young players to meet the university players and learn some of their skills.

LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS
AND COUNTING
Our mission is to create opportunities for underserved young players to experience the joys of playing tennis.
We fund group tennis lessons, support participation in community junior tournaments, and aid high school
tennis programs with grants to support their teams.

Since 2021 Junior Tennis Fund has donated $1000 each to 14 local high schools. That means they have the best equipment to play the best tennis in their league matches. It also means they know their community is behind them to be successful in their sport! JTFS also collects slightly used rackets from our friends in the tennis world, have them refurbished and give them to players who do not have their own racket.
Find out how JTFS could help you financially be a more competitive team.
GRANT APPLICATION
The Junior Tennis Fund grant application is available September 1st of each year and is due by October 19th, with grant recipients announced by mid-November.
